01. Saree
Saree is one of the most famous and popular dresses for women in the sub-continent. Mostly India Bangladesh and Pakistan are well known for it and it’s a traditional dress. Saree might be a fashionable garment now, but it started from being a humble drape used by women thousands of years ago. The origin of the drape or a garment similar to the sari can be traced back to the Indus Valley Civilisation, which came into being during 2800–1800 BC in northwest India. In Bangladesh Muslin, Jamdani, Cotton, Hybrid different types of saree are produced in a traditional way and industrial way.
Narayanganj is famous for Jamdani. Similarly, Sirajganj is worldwide known for Saree, Lungi, Gamcha, Salowar kamiz. Belkuchi upzilla (Belkuchi, Khukni, Daolatpur ,Enayetpur) is on the top to produce different types of saree in Sirajganj. Besides these Sirajganj Sadar and Shahzadpur upzilla has a good name and fame to produce saree. Normally quality and price of sarees depend on the count of the yarn.

02. Lungi
The lungi is the most commonly seen dress of Bangladesh, although it is not normally worn for formal occasions. In Bangladesh, lungis are worn by men, almost universally indoors, but commonly outdoors as well.
Elaborately designed tartan cotton, batik, or silk lungis are often presented as wedding gifts to the groom in a Bangladeshi wedding. The typical Bangladeshi lungi is a seamless tubular shape, as opposed to the single sheet worn in other parts of South and Southeast Asia. In Bangladesh, the lungi industry is concentrated in Sirajganj, Kushtia, Pabna, and Khulna.
Especially Tamai, Belkuchi, and Bagbati are popular with lungi production all over Bangladesh as well as India. Bangladesh’s famous brands collect lungi from the Sirajganj region. Bangladeshi women do not traditionally wear lungis, although non-Bengali tribal women do wear similar garments in the Chittagong Hill Tracts.
03. Shalwar
Shalwar kameez is a fashionable and mostly used dress for women according to Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, and so many countries. Different types and designs are available in our country and it is changing according to human taste. Shalwar kameez is produced industrially or traditionally in our country. But now a days handloom products are getting popularity among the women.
Now a days Shalwar kameez is not only limited to three-piece. It is available according to customer choices like a two-piece, one-piece, or only Dupatta. In Sirajganj Belkuchi is one of the lead points to produce these items.
04. Gamucha
A gamucha (also known as gamcha) is a traditional thin, coarse cotton towel, often with a checked design, found in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, as well as various parts of South and Southeast Asia; it is used to dry the body after bathing or wiping sweat. It is often worn on one side of the shoulder. Its appearance varies from region to region, and it has been traditionally worn as a scarf by men.
The gamucha is most commonly found with check and striped patterns of red, orange or green. Plain white gamchhas with coloured (embroidered or printed) borders. About 80% of gamcha of Bangladesh is produced from different region of Sirajganj especially in Kamarkhanda upzilla.
